Captive shot blasting is a safe, quick and convenient way to remove rubber from airport runways.

We can provide an anti-slip surface on runway areas that have worn smooth over a prolonged period.

Complete removal of old lines and runway markings from concrete is easily achieved by captive shot blasting, giving much better results and without the environmental impact or inconvenience of traditional burning off techniques.

In this instance some of the markings were very wide so the full width of the machine was used. For narrow markings, reducer liners are fitted to the machine to suit the required blast width. Our system is completely dust free in operation and a far more cost effective alternative than Hydro blasting.
